One of our Key priorities is the availability of prompt medical attention for our patients when it is most needed. Particularly our elderly and young patient, We Will endeavour to offer same day appointments.

Billing:
We are a Mixed Billing practice children under 16 and pension/conscession card holders will be Bulk Billed Moday to Friday. You will need to bring your current Medicare and Concession cards to each visit. The fee must be paid on the day.
Not cancellation of an appointment within 3 hours of your allocated time, may result in a payment of $40 been required before any further appointments are scheduled.
Please note that if you have additional treatment and procedures there will be additional costs. All medicals such as Drivers License and Pre-employment medicals will be privately billed
Opening Hours: Koondoola Avenue Medical Centre is open Monday to Friday (8.00am to 5.30pm).
Appointments: It is necessary to book appointments. Every attempt will be made to book your preferred doctor. Same day appointments offered.
Results: Radiology or Pathology results will not be given out over the phone. Please make a follow-up appointment for your results. This appointment will be Private billed .
Phone Calls: Doctors generally do not take phone calls whilst consulting. Please advise the receptionist what your query is about and this information will be passed onto the doctor.
Recalls / Reminders: This practice has a reminder system and you may receive a reminder to see the doctor for pap smears etc. If we are unable to contact you, you may receive reminders from state and national registers.
Medical Records: Your medical records are confidential documents. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal information at all times and to ensure that this information is only accessible to authorised members of staff.
Your medical records remain the property of “Koondoola Avenue Medical Centre” if you transfer to another surgery relevant copies can be made and will be sent to the other surgery. A signed written consent is required for this action.
